Jahlil Okafor, Jerami Grant Named to 2016 USA Men's Select Team

Jahlil Okafor and Jerami Grant will be training with some of the NBA’s top talents this summer.

The Sixers’ duo was named to the 2016 USA Men’s Select Team along with 23 current NBA players and draft prospects. The select team will train with the national team July 18-21 in Las Vegas.

In addition to Okafor and Grant, the 2016 select team includes Devin Booker (Suns), Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Pistons), Willie Cauley-Stein (Kings), Aaron Gordon (Magic), Gary Harris (Nuggets), Rodney Hood (Jazz), Stanley Johnson (Pistons), Zach LaVine (Timberwolves), C.J. McCollum (Trail Blazers), Doug McDermott (Bulls), Emmanuel Mudiay (Nuggets), Jabari Parker (Bucks), Julius Randle (Lakers), D’Angelo Russell (Lakers), Marcus Smart (Celtics), Myles Turner (Pacers), Justise Winslow (Heat) and Cody Zeller (Hornets).

The group is rounded out by draft prospects Malcolm Brogdon (Virginia), Kris Dunn  (Providence), Brandon Ingram (Duke), Brice Johnson (North Carolina) and Denzel Valentine (Michigan State).

The select team will be coached by Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich. Championship-winning Villanova head coach Jay Wright and Spurs assistant coach Ime Udoka will be the assistant coaches for the squad.
