Gerald Henderson, Paul George Each Fined $25,000 From Monday's Game

Sixers guard Gerald Henderson has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for throwing an elbow at Paul George.

And George has been fined the same amount for publicly criticizing referees after Monday night's game.

Both fines were announced by the NBA on Wednesday afternoon.

Henderson was fined for the Flagrant Foul 2 in the waning minutes of the fourth quarter. The foul came with less than three minutes remaining.

After the game, neither player seemed happy about the officiating, but George went on a profanity-laced rant about the officiating, saying he didn't have any respect for the refs (see story)

The two players, after battling all game, got locked up with just over five minutes remaining and were hit with double technicals. That was just the beginning. The two continued to tussle throughout the rest of the game.
