You're not the only one with conspiracy theories about this whole Bryan Colangelo Twitter mess.
It seems like Bryan Colangelo might have some too.
While the NBA world inside and outside of Philadelphia has been trying to get to the bottom of this whole bizarre thing - if you've been living under a rock, this is a good place to start - the man himself has been relatively quiet.

"Someone's out to get me," Colangelo said Wednesday to Jordan Schultz of Yahoo! Sports. "This is clearly not me."
That's pretty strong - "Someone's out to get me."
If someone is "out to get" Colangelo, they clearly went through an awful lot of trouble to orchestrate all of this. While it seems Colangelo - who added he's "hopeful to resolve this soon" - didn't go any further into his own conspiracy theory to that reporter, we have no way to know what Colangelo has been telling the Sixers, who announced their own investigation on Wednesday morning (see story).
Aside from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski's reporting earlier in the day that Colangelo had been reaching out to those mentioned in the story from The Ringer, these comments to Schultz are the first we've heard from Colangelo since his statement in the original story.
To refresh your memory, here's what that statement said:
"Like many of my colleagues in sports, I have used social media as a means to keep up with the news. While I have never posted anything whatsoever on social media, I have used the @Phila1234567 Twitter account referenced in this story to monitor our industry and other current events. This storyline is disturbing to me on many levels, as I am not familiar with any of the other accounts that have been brought to my attention, nor do I know who is behind them or what their motives may be in using them."
There's a possibility that the stink of this whole mess is going to linger around the Sixers even if the team ends up completely exonerating him. (As of Wednesday afternoon, oddsmakers were already saying Colangelo leaving his position was the favorite.) And the Sixers better hurry, because free agency is just around the corner (see story).
For now, though, it seems Colangelo is pleading his innocence. Those conspiracy theories are going to keep flooding in.
