Tonight's Lineup: Tommy Joseph Back at First Base Vs. Matt Harvey

Tommy Joseph returns to the Phillies' lineup after sitting out Monday night against Mets right-hander Jacob deGrom.

Brock Stassi started at first base Monday and had a night that began with disappointment and ended with success. Stassi grounded into a rally-killing, inning-ending, 1-2-3 double play in the first inning, before leading off the bottom of the ninth with his first career hit -- a solo home run off reliever Addison Reed.

Joseph is just 2 for 20 with eight strikeouts this season and both of his hits came in the same inning -- the Phillies' historic 12-run first inning Saturday against the Nationals.

He's never faced Matt Harvey, who starts for the Mets tonight (see game notes).

1. Cesar Hernandez, 2B (hit safely in all but one game)
2. Howie Kendrick, LF (reached base every game; 10 for 25 with 4 extra-base hits)
3. Odubel Herrera, CF
4. Maikel Franco, 3B
5. Michael Saunders, RF
6. Tommy Joseph, 1B
7. Cameron Rupp, C
8. Freddy Galvis, SS
