Tonight's Lineup: Brock Stassi Gets the Start at First Base

Brock Stassi gets the start at first base tonight when the Phillies open their three-game series against Jacob deGrom and the New York Mets.

A week into his rookie season, Stassi is 0 for 4 with three walks. He had a chance to walk the Phillies off Sunday afternoon but popped out right before Cesar Hernandez delivered the game-winning single.

The rest of the lineup is standard -- Michael Saunders in right field, Cameron Rupp behind the plate, normal batting order.

The Phillies have really struggled against deGrom, hitting .188 vs. him at Citizens Bank Park (see game notes).

Current Phils have hit .190 off him altogether with one extra-base hit and 15 strikeouts. That homer belongs to Rupp, who is hitless in his other five at-bats with three K's.

Freddy Galvis has had the most success off deGrom, going 5 for 14, all singles.
