Tonight's Lineup: Tommy Joseph Moves Up to 5-hole Vs. LHP

Tommy Joseph is starting to find his swing and manager Pete Mackanin has bumped him up a spot in the lineup for Saturday's tilt against the Atlanta Braves at Citizens Bank Park.

With a left-handed pitcher on the mound for Atlanta -- Jamie Garcia -- Joseph will hit fifth behind Maikel Franco, who is in his usual cleanup spot.

Joseph went 1 for 4 in the Phillies' 4-3 win over the Braves in the series opener Friday night. On Thursday against the Mets, he was 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI.

In his last eight games, he is 8 for 29 (.276) with two doubles, one home run and four RBIs. On the season, he is hitting .212 with one homer and seven RBIs.

Against lefties this season, the Phillies' first baseman is hitting just .111 with two RBIs in nine at-bats. Last season, he hit .281 with seven homers and 15 RBIs vs. LHPs.

He has never faced Garcia. He has just four at-bats in the five-hole this season.
