Tonight's Lineup: Maikel Franco Will Play; Outfield Shuffled

Pete Mackanin wasn't kidding when he said he wasn't happy with his offense after Tuesday night's 2-1 loss in 10 innings to the Marlins.

The Phillies' lineup will look different on Wednesday night. Mackanin has gone right-handed heavy against Marlins lefty Wei-Yin Chen.

Luckily for Mackanin, his best right-handed hitter will be in the lineup. Maikel Franco got up slowly after making a tremendous diving catch on Tuesday. He'll start at third and bat third.

Center fielder Odubel Herrera will get a day off. The Phillies' lone All Star is mired in a 4-for-36 slump. Fellow outfielder and left-handed hitter Cody Asche has also cooled off. Asche has just three hits in his last 28 at bats.

Peter Bourjos will get the nod in center and lead off. He'll be flanked by Tyler Goeddel in left and Jimmy Paredes in right. This will be the first start of the second half for both players. Goeddel, who will bat second, is really struggling at the plate. The Rule 5 pick is hitting .086 in his last 35 at bats. Paredes hasn't been much better. He's just four of his last 20. He'll bat sixth.

Here is tonight's lineup:
1. Peter Bourjos, CF
2. Tyler Goeddel, LF
3. Maikel Franco, 3B
4. Tommy Joseph, 1B
5. Carlos Ruiz, C
6. Jimmy Paredes, RF
7. Freddy Galvis, SS
8. Cesar Hernandez, 2B
9. Jeremy Hellickson, P
