Phillies Draft Tracker: Team Opens Day 3 Picks With OF Josh Stephen

The Phillies opened Day 3 of the MLB draft by selecting Mater Dei HS centerfielder Josh Stephen with the 317th pick.

After the Phillies took high school outfielder Mickey Moniak with the first pick in the draft and pitcher Kevin Gowdy (42nd overall) in the second round Thursday, they made eight more picks on Friday, including SS/3B Cole Stobbe from Millard West HS in Nebraska in the third round.
