The Phillies kicked off the 2018 MLB draft Monday by taking Alec Bohm, a power-hitting third baseman from Wichita State (see story).
On Tuesday, they added a mix of pitchers and infielders and today, the draft wraps up with Rounds 11-40.

Round 4, pick 107: RHP Colton Eastman
The Phillies' second pick in the draft is a 6-3, 185-pound right-hander from Cal State Fullerton. In three seasons in college, Eastman has a 20-6 record with a 2.20 ERA. He has 253 strikeouts in 245 innings.
During the 2018 season, Eastman is 10-3 with a 2.20 ERA and 116 strikeouts in 110 2/3 innings. Eastman is not a hard thrower with his fastball sitting in the 89-92 mph range. He features a changeup and curveball as well.

Round 5, pick 137: CF Matt Vierling
This time, the Phils drafted a 6-5, 205-pound centerfielder from Notre Dame. In 2018, Vierling batted .310 with 10 homers and 43 RBIs after batting .330 with seven homers and 42 RBIs in 2017. He's considered an athletic centerfielder with above-average speed.
Round 6, pick 167: SS Logan Simmons
After selecting three college players in a row, the Phillies used their sixth-round pick on a high school shortstop. Simmons is a Georgia Tech commit with big power but also a lot of strikeouts. The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder just turned 18 this past April.
Round 7, pick 197: LHP Gabriel Cotto
With their seventh-round pick, the Phillies selected lanky left-handed pitcher Cotto. Cotto is a 6-foot-5, 175-pound southpaw from the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. He just turned 18 last month.
Round 8, pick 227: 3B Seth Lancaster
The Phillies selected another third baseman in the eighth round when they took Coast Carolina's Lancaster. The left-handed hitting Lancaster batted .305/.454/.646 with 20 homers and 57 RBIs in 226 at-bats during the 2018 season. He also stole 23 bases and was caught only three times.
Round 9, pick 257: RHP Dominic Pipkin
The Phillies added more pitching with the selection of Pipkin out of Pinole Valley High School (California). Pipkin, a slender right-hander at 6-foot-4 and 160 pounds, committed to attend Cal prior to being selected in the draft.
Round 10, pick 287: SS Madison Stokes
The Phillies loaded up on yet another shortstop in South Carolina's Stokes. Stokes (6-2, 200) has recorded a slash line of .331/.417/.587 in his senior season for the Gamecocks, who on Monday advanced to the Super Regionals.
Round 11, pick 317: RHP Jack Perkins
Round 12, pick 347: RHP James McArthur
Round 13, pick 377: SS Jose Mercado
