Harper Watch 2019 in Full Effect in Philadelphia

Storm Tracker 2019 is in full effect this weekend as Winter Storm Harper is set to terrorize much of the East Coast.

NBC Sports Philadelphia's resident meteorologist Marc Farzetta has been tracking Harper's developments for what seems like months now and has your up-to-the-minute report right here.

"Harper will avoid D.C. all together passing right over for a big shot at Philadelphia and New York," Farzetta said.

"Some reports say there is a 100 percent chance this storm could hit Philadelphia. Other reports say there's a zero percent chance Harper hits Philadelphia. We're 60 percent sure one of those reports is correct."

Don't forget about the possibility of other storms as well.

"According to our Salisbury model, Winter Storm Manny is also set to hit the Philadelphia area," Farzetta said. "We'll have to wait and see if it does. It's a very, very slow-moving storm front. No hustle in this storm, you could say. But when it hits, it hits hard."
