Dodgers to Start Chase Utley in Series Opener Vs. Phillies at Citizens Bank Park

Great news, Phillies fans: The Man will be in the starting lineup.

Chase Utley, in what will be his last regular-season series at Citizens Bank Park, will start tonight for the Dodgers.

Los Angeles has yet to release its lineup, but Utley said in a pre-game news conference that he's starting.

Utley, who's started just 33 games this season, is hitting .243 this season with one homer and 14 RBI. He's been a valuable pinch hitter for the Dodgers, going 12 for 27 with three doubles and a triple (see series preview).

Another interesting player that should be in the L.A. lineup: the recently-acquired Manny Machado. The Phillies were in the running for the All-Star shortstop but ultimately lost out to the win-now Dodgers.

Both teams are in first place heading into their three-game set so Utley won't be the only the source of excitement this week.
