Chase Utley's Dodgers Teammates Gave Him a Perfect Retirement Gift

Chase Utley will not be on the Los Angeles Dodgers roster for their big National League Championship Series against the Milwaukee Brewers that begins Friday night at Miller Park.

This is expected but still something of a bummer for Philly fans who wanted to cheer on Chase one last time, hoping for a pinch-hit home run off the bench in a big spot to help his Hall of Fame case.

Alas, Chase will be watching the series like the rest of us but at least he'll have a comfortable rocking chair to enjoy it from.

That's because Utley's Dodgers teammates continue to play up his role as the dad of the team by gifting him a good old rocking chair. If you're not familiar, Utley has played the mentoring role like a champ, particularly with Dodgers' youngster Kike Hernandez. They've got Father's Day T-shirts and everything.

Check out the dope chair that includes both Phillies and Dodgers logos.

"The boys in blue made me my own personalized rocking chair. Thanks guys. #AmiThatOld?" Utley wrote as the caption.
