Bryce Harper Is Planning Another Mother's Day Tribute With Custom Cleats

Mother's Day is on Sunday and Bryce Harper has something very special planned to pay tribute to his mom, Sheri.

Harper will wear these custom cleats, which depict flowers and the words "Thank you Mom" throughout.

I love them.

This is, however, not the first time that Harper has done something special on Mother's Day. In fact, the list is pretty long.

Let's start with 2012, when Harper wore these special cleats in his first Mother's Day in the majors.

In 2013, he expanded the wardrobe to include even more accessories.

In 2016, Harper paid tribute with this floral arrangement.

He also gave away a jar of money to a homeless person.

In 2017, he went all out, even getting the name of his mom and mother-in-law etched into his bats.

That year, he also wrote, and read, this incredibly touching letter to his mom.

On the field, Harper is also giving out the gifts. He has homered in each of the past two years on Mother's Day.

Next year will be a very special Mother's Day, too, because his wife, Kayla, will be the mother of their first child. We're looking forward to seeing the tradition continue next year and for the next 12 years, too.
