At His Retirement Ceremony, Chase Utley Finally Has Catch With Rob McElhenney, ‘Mac' From ‘It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'

Friday night was all about Chase Utley at Citizens Bank Park.

The Phillies held a retirement ceremony for their beloved former second baseman before Friday's game against the Marlins, honoring Utley for his incredible career.

But it was also a big night for Rob McElhenney, who plays "Mac" in the TV show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Utley finally had a catch with Mac, in front of 40,000-plus people.
