Remember Steve Downie? Two-time former Flyer?
Now an unrestricted free agent, Downie has some free time on his hands. And he has taken to Twitter to pass the time, starting an epic 24-hour (and still ongoing) R-rated rant.
His main gripe goes out to his most recent team, the Arizona Coyotes.
To put it nicely, Downie is not a fan of the 'Yotes, calling them a 'classless' organization, among other things.
To drive his point home, Downie shares a story about how late Flyers' owner Ed Snider took care of his players.
When I got a concussion in Philly i spent 3 days in the hospital bed. Ed Snider came and sat next to me just to make sure I was doing OK.— Steve Downie (@stevedownie23) December 24, 2016
