All is right with the world.
Gritty and the Phillie Phanatic met Saturday night.
They are now best friends.
And it is awesome.

What a moment. Historic, really. If this doesn't make you smile, we're not sure what will.
It's been quite the week for Gritty, the Flyers' new mascot who was unveiled Monday. He has taken the sports world by storm. He's been on "Good Morning America" and Jimmy Fallon's "The Tonight Show." He has been all over the Wells Fargo Center. There's a beer in his honor. Someone even got a tattoo of the orange fella.
Oh, and he hit a home run Friday night in the Dodgers-Giants game and was featured on ESPN's "College GameDay" this morning.

Who knows what is next for Gritty, but Saturday night at Citizens Bank Park will be right up there with all the moments ahead.
