Gritty, the Flyers' New Mascot, Is Up to All Sorts of Shenanigans on His 1st Night Out

So Gritty's got jokes.

We saw him strike fear into the Penguins with this tweet.

Then, in his first-ever appearance on the Wells Fargo Center Jumbotron, he showed his personality during the "Kiss Cam" segment. After making the moves on a fan, Gritty handed her a bottle of mouthwash.

Looking at Gritty, he was probably the one with the bad breath.

Anyway, Gritty took to the ice during first intermission. He had trouble staying on his feet (which you can watch in the video above) and instead of shooting shirts into the crowd, he started aiming and firing them at those helping on the ice.
