The win streak takes to Dallas on Saturday afternoon when the Flyers play the Stars at the American Airlines Center.

Let’s get you ready for the matchup with five things to know:

1. Throw the Ws up
A victory for the Flyers would be their 11th in a row.

Just how crazy is that? Well, it would match the team’s second-longest winning streak in franchise history, back in March 1985. The only longer streak came a season later but in the same year when the Flyers won 13 straight from Oct. 19-Nov. 17.

And not just that, among the four major franchises in Philadelphia, the Flyers can also tie the city’s best run since the 2010 Phillies won 11 consecutive games from Sept. 12-24.

“I’ve never won 10 in a row in any league, never mind the NHL,” Wayne Simmonds said after the Flyers’ 4-3 win over the Avalanche on Wednesday. “So it’s pretty special.”

2. Finding the power
Surprisingly, the Flyers are 0 for 7 on the power play over the past two games.

That hasn’t cost them the winning streak, of course, but expect the power play to reignite against the Stars. The Flyers lead the NHL with 28 man-advantage markers and Dallas has surrendered the league’s second most at 26.

Claude Giroux owns an NHL-best 15 power-play points, while Wayne Simmonds is tied for second at 14, with Jakub Voracek and Brayden Schenn right behind at 13.

3. Schenn can
Speaking of Schenn, the 25-year-old has caught fire and he’s seeing the opponent against which it all started.

Schenn notched a hat trick last Saturday to help the Flyers come from behind and beat the Stars, 4-2, at the Wells Fargo Center. He followed it up with goals in each of the next two games, giving him three straight game-winners and five total tallies in the last three contests.

Shifting from wing to centering the second line has sparked Schenn, who had just four goals in his first 26 games of the season.

4. Keep an eye on ...
Flyers: Let’s go Travis Konecny. We haven’t mentioned the 19-year-old much during the winning streak as the Flyers’ big guns have carried the load. Konecny has no goals and four assists in the last 10 games. He’s got a game coming soon.

Stars: Left winger Jamie Benn is always a threat for big outbursts. He has three three-point games over his last 10, and has 10 career points (five goals, five assists) and a plus-7 rating in 11 career games against the Flyers.

5. This and that
• Per the Elias Sports Bureau, Steve Mason is the first Flyers goalie to win eight consecutive starts since Ron Hextall went 9-0-0 from Dec. 6, 1996–Jan. 7, 1997.

• Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen is 1-11-3 lifetime against the Flyers with a 3.45 goals-against average and .889 save percentage, while backup Antti Niemi is 4-1-0 with 1.48 goals-against average and .947 save percentage.

• The Flyers’ record through 32 games (19-10-3) is their best since the 2011-12 season, when they were 20-8-4.

• The Flyers’ 10-game winning streak is the NHL’s longest this season.
