You think things are going poorly for the Eagles? Look at what's happening in the rest of the NFC East.
At 2-3, not only are the Eagles still the team to beat, every other team has massive problems of their own.
Let's start with Thursday's opponent, the New York Giants.

The Giants are 1-4 and managed to score more than 30 points for the first time in a game since the 2015 finale, only to lose on their second last-second 60+ yard field goal in as many seasons.
After signing a five-year, $95 million Odell Beckham Jr. did an interview that was completely unsanctioned by the team where he was openly critical of his teammates.
Philadelphia Eagles

The Giants drafted OT Ereck Flowers with the ninth overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and was released with zero interest from any other team to pick him up in a trade.
Washington Redskins
I'm not sure if you got a chance to watch the Redskins last night on Monday Night Football, but they looked downright awful. So bad, in fact, that the New Orleans Saints did not punt the entire game and Drew Brees completed 26-of-29 passes en route to his record-breaking night.
After the game, the Redskins outspoken corner, Josh Norman, traded barbs on Twitter with Saints WR Michael Thomas, whose offense just put up 43 points.

On the ground, the Redskins may even have more issues than the Eagles, who lost their starter for the season and have two more banged up running backs. The Redskins rushed for 38 yards on 18 carries and Adrian Peterson suffered a dislocated shoulder and Chris Thompson injured his ribs.
The Redskins are currently leading the division with a 2-2 record.
Dallas Cowboys
Last, but not least, the Dallas Cowboys had a terrible week against their in-state rivals, the Houston Texans and people are calling for longtime head coach Jason Garrett to be fired.

The Cowboys offense boasts one of the most dynamic rushers in the NFL in Ezekiel Elliot and Garrett decided to punt the football on 4th and "a long" one, on the Texans 42 yard line instead of going for it. The Texans took the ball and went on to kick the game-winning field goal to send the Cowboys to 2-3.
In recent days, outspoken team owner Jerry Jones has taken shots at both Garrett and, perhaps, former WR Dez Bryant in the media.
Jones openly questioned the decision to punt in overtime, telling reporters that "We were being outplayed. It's time for risks at that particular time." Additionally, Jones took a cheap shot at Dez Bryant, saying the team has not had a No. 1 wide receiver in "several years."

So, while the Eagles have struggled, so have the teams representing the bulk of their remaining schedule. The NFC East is still up for grabs and, to steal a quote from Jimmy Rollins, I still think the Eagles are the team to beat in the East.
