Week 6 NFL Power Rankings: Eagles Continue to Rise

The very top spot in the NFL power rankings unsurprisingly remains unchanged, but who saw this No. 2 coming five weeks into the season?

32. Miami Dolphins
The bye week. Sweet reprieve.

31. Washington
If you're gonna fire somebody, it's usually nice to at least wait until dawn.

30. New York Jets
The Jets gave Sam Darnold first-team reps all week, and then started Luke Falk, who got sacked 10 times.

29. Cincinnati Bengals
The schedule doesn't lighten up at all for the 0-5 Bengals until December when they face the also 0-5 Jets.

28. Denver Broncos
Something to cheer for this week for Broncos fans, who will probably tell you this team is better than their 1-4 record indicates. Sure.

27. Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta's Super Bowl odds have dipped all the way to 300/1. That's fourth-worst in the NFC.

26. Pittsburgh Steelers
Just hoping Mason Rudolph is OK.

25. New York Giants
Daniel Jones has given Giants fans some hope this season, but it was never going to be that easy. Patriots on Thursday night this week.

24. Arizona Cardinals
Look, the Bengals are terrible - but a win is a win, right?

23. Cleveland Browns
Momentum stopped dead in its tracks this week for the Browns in the Bay Area.

22. Tennessee Titans
Cairo Santos missed four field goals on Sunday, so the Titans turn to … Cody Parkey, who missed eight field goals last year, including a would-be playoff game winner.

21. Jacksonville Jaguars
Tough one for Gardner Minshew and Co. this week against the Carolina McCaffreys, but Jags fans still have to be excited about their future at QB.

20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
We thought the Bucs had a real chance at the division after that offensive show in LA last week, but it's clear they have a lot of work to do.

19. Los Angeles Chargers
Can anybody get an accurate read on this team this season?

18. Chicago Bears
Must have been a long flight back from the other side of the pond after the loss to Oakland in London. Not as long as these next 12 days are going to feel until they get back on the field.

17. Oakland Raiders
London games are weird, and this one certainly fit the billing. The Raiders came out on top, so they finish one spot up.

16. Houston Texans
Last week, we wrote that the Texans would be fine. 53 points later, hello.

15. Carolina Panthers
Raise your hand if Christian McCaffrey single-handedly swung your fantasy matchup this week.

14. Minnesota Vikings
The Giants were good medicine for this group, but Philadelphia is going to be a different test for Kirk Cousins' offense next week.

13. Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson has come back to earth after his impressive start, but the Ravens are still in first place thanks to Justin Tucker's leg.

12. Dallas Cowboys
Dallas has some soul-searching to do after two straight losses. Did we pump them up too much after three early-season wins against bad teams?

11. Indianapolis Colts
Rumors of the Colts' demise post-Andrew Luck were greatly exaggerated.

10. Los Angeles Rams
Something just looks off with the LA offense, even though the Rams have had chances to win late in their last two losses. Undefeated San Francisco is on deck next week.

9. Detroit Lions
Monday night next week in Green Bay should be a good post-bye benchmark for just how good this Detroit team could be.

8. Philadelphia Eagles
Two weeks ago, we were wondering if the Eagles were about to fall out of contention for the NFC East. They now have the second-best Super Bowl odds in the NFC, behind only New Orleans.

7. Buffalo Bills
It certainly wasn't the prettiest game of football in history, but the Bills went into Nashville, played great defense, and left with a 4-1 record.

6. Green Bay Packers
The Packers went on the road and picked off Dak Prescott four times.

5. Kansas City Chiefs
Look, the Chiefs' offense was going to have an off week at some point. They're still probably the second-best team in the AFC, even if Indy game-planned them to perfection on SNF.

4. Seattle Seahawks
Russell Wilson is on an MVP pace right now, the best start of his career. Seattle looks dangerous.

3. New Orleans Saints
It's really hard not to be happy for Teddy Bridgewater in his return to football post-injury. Four touchdowns on Sunday, and the Saints are weathering Drew Brees' injury just fine.

2. San Francisco 49ers
4-0!

1. New England Patriots
The Pats remain undefeated, and their upcoming schedule shapes up like this: vs. Giants, at Jets, vs Browns. We'll see you at 8-0.
