Two Eagles in ProFootballFocus' Top 101 Players of 2015

The 2015 season was a forgettable one for the Philadelphia Eagles.

They won just seven games after entering the season with high hopes and expectations and head coach Chip Kelly didn't make it through all 16 games before getting fired.

But there were some bright spots last year and ProFootballFocus highlighted two of them in their list of the top 101 players from the 2015 season. Two Eagles made the cut.

25. Malcolm Jenkins
Jenkins, 25, was PFF's second-highest rated safety last season. Jenkins turned 28 during last season, but was a key contributor for the Eagles playing safety and moving into the slot in the team's nickel package.

PFF said Jenkins was thrown at 83 times, more than any other safety, but allowed under 500 yards and just 8.9 per reception.

Jenkins was not on the 2014 list.

28. Fletcher Cox
Cox is the Eagles' best player. I know, I know … these rankings don't say that. But he is.

PFF was impressed that Cox did as much damage as he did as a two-gapping defensive end in a 3-4, which is impressive. He'll look more impressive in Jim Schwartz's 4-3 attacking defense in 2016. "Cox was one of the most troublesome players to black in the entire league, and a true force on the Philadelphia line," wrote PFF.

Cox was 46th on the list in 2014.
