According to ESPN, former Eagles wide receiver Josh Huff was not a no-show at his court date Tuesday, as previously reported by multiple outlets.
Huff's attorney Andrew Smith told Jenna Laine of ESPN that he appeared on Huff's behalf.
Earlier, it had been reported that Huff was an inexplicable no-show.
If this sounds confusing, it's because it is. Huff never showed up for his 1:30 hearing, and court doesn't know what happened. — Michael Boren (@borenmc) November 15, 2016

"If the defendant was here, (I would) read them their rights and advise of them their responsibilities," judge Robert T. Zane told NJ.com. "He is not here, so I'm not going to do that."
Huff, now a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' practice squad, was to appear in court after being arrested on Nov. 1 when he was pulled over on the Walt Whitman Bridge. He's been charged for unlawful possession of a firearm and hollow point bullets. He's also facing charges for traffic offenses and having a small amount of marijuana.
The Eagles released Huff two days later. [[393267511, C]]
