Patriots Fans Get Philly Special Surprise at Mass. Dunkin' Donuts

Even though Dunkin' Donuts is based out of Massachusetts, that didn't stop them from inadvertently trolling their own customers.

When you take a trip to New York, you may get a Mets or Yankees cup, when you go to Boston, you'd expect to see the Patriots logo, but Mass. natives have been getting Eagles Super Bowl champions cups and they're not thrilled.

We think it's hilarious. There's nothing like being tired, caffeine deprived and reminded that your beloved Pats lost to the Eagles 41-33 in the Super Bowl.

According to The Sun Chronicle, Dunkin' had been accidently sending Eagles cups to stores in Massachusetts, when they should be getting Patriots cups. The company even issued this statement to the The Sun Chronicle.

"We appreciate our loyal customers for bringing this to our attention, and we are taking steps to ensure all of our local stores are stocked with the correct cups. Go Pats."

Despite the mix-up, we'd like to think that maybe a rogue Eagles fan in the HQ sent a few boxes up north just for fun. Either way, a few days before every team has a 0-0 record, it's never too late to be reminded that the Eagles are still the World Champions.
