NFC Power Rankings: Eagles Make a Small Move North

The Eagles (5-6) pulled off a come-from-behind win 25-22 over the Giants to keep their postseason hopes alive as we near the final playoff push.

Here are our up-to-date NFC power rankings:

1. Saints (10-1) Last week: 1

The Saints scored 31 points and it actually hurt their scoring average. That's how ridiculous their season has been. They didn't let the Falcons hang around long in this one, beating them 31-17. They're at Dallas on Thursday night.

2. Rams (10-1) Last week: 2

Off their bye week, the well-rested Rams have back-to-back road games in Detroit and then a tougher test in Chicago before coming home to host the Eagles.

3. Bears (8-3) last week: 3

Nice team win from Chicago without quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. On Thanksgiving former Eagle Chase Daniel got the start and the Bears scored 14 fourth-quarter points to win 23-16 over the Lions. They travel to face the Giants this week.

4. Vikings (6-4-1) Last week: 5

Minnesota did enough to take down the Packers but now face two tough games back-to-back. They're in New England and then in Seattle for Monday Night Football.

5. Seahawks (6-5) Last week: 6

Speaking of Seattle, the Seahawks scored 13 points in the fourth quarter to take down the Panthers 30-27. Russell Wilson had a masterful game, throwing for 339 yards and two touchdowns. Seattle has a home game against the lowly 49ers this week.

6. Panthers (6-5) Last week: 4

What the heck has happened to the Panthers? They're too good to be in this kind of fall. After starting the season with a 6-2 record, the Panthers have lost three straight to the Steelers, Lions and Seahawks. They're on the road the next two weekends to face the Bucs and Browns.

7. Cowboys (6-5) Last week: 7

Nice Thanksgiving win over Washington to pull up even atop the NFC East. Amari Cooper had his breakout game, catching eight passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns. A first-round pick was a lot to give up but at least the Cowboys are making the most of it.

8. Redskins (6-5) Last week: 8

Their first game with Colt McCoy resulted in a loss to the Cowboys. McCoy threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns but also threw three interceptions.

9. Eagles (5-6) Last week: 11

After falling behind 19-3 early, the Eagles came from behind to beat the Giants 25-22. It was a good sign to see that they had enough fight to battle back, but a bad sign they were in that position against a Giants team that isn't very good. They play Washington on Monday Night Football with a chance to win the division still in front of them.

10. Packers (4-6-1) Last week: 9

Since their Week 7 bye, the Packers have lost four of five, including a 24-17 loss to the Vikings this past weekend. They are wasting Aaron Rodgers.

11. Lions (4-7) Last week: 10

They had a chance to take down the Bears without Trubisky and they couldn't get it done. The Lions have now lost four of five.

12. Falcons (4-7) Last week: 12

They had no chance against the Saints in New Orleans. At least they kept it close after one quarter before eventually falling 31-17.

13. Buccaneers (4-7) Last week: 14

The Bucs stopped a four-game losing streak by beating up the 49ers 27-9 at home. Jameis Winston threw for 312 yards and two touchdowns.

14. Giants (3-8) Last week: 13

They got a big lead on the Eagles, but they blew it and the opportunity to put together a three-game win streak.

15. Cardinals (2-9) Last week: 15

The got the stuffing beaten out of them by the Chargers, 45-10. At that happened after they scored the first 10 points of the game.

16. 49ers (2-9) Last week: 16

The Niners were crushed by a Buccaneers team that was completely reeling. Now, San Francisco has to go on the road to face Seattle.
