Let's Watch Corey Clement's Ridiculous Tape From Glassboro High

It's crazy to think, but it really wasn't all that long ago when Corey Clement was a young kid in South Jersey tearing up other Group 1 competition.

Since then, a lot has happened. He went to star at Wisconsin, joined the Eagles as an undrafted free agent and then had 100 yards receiving in the freaking Super Bowl!

In five years time, he went from running over little kids at Glassboro High School to making defining plays in the Eagles' Super Bowl win.

We bring this up because the South Jersey Football Coaches Association on Friday announced seven new members for the 2018 Hall of Fame Class (June 27) and you can go ahead and guess who's on it.

Inducting the 23-year-old Clement is the ultimate no-brainer.

I mean, just check out these highlights from his senior year. How much fun is it to watch dudes who are my size try to take down an eventual Super Bowl champion?

(Clement isn't hard to find; he's No. 6, the one making everyone else on the field look silly.)

It was pretty much unfair. He's the best high school player I've ever seen, I know that.

Clement rushed for 6,245 yards while at Glassboro to become South Jersey's all-time leading rusher. He also had 85 touchdowns - 85! And 67 of those touchdowns came in his last two seasons.

He also set the South Jersey single-season record with 2,510 yards and the SJ single-game record with 478 yards.

During his high school career, he averaged 10.1 yards per carry. On average, he got a first down every time he got the ball!

That single-game record is a pretty crazy story, by the way. A kid named Wesley Hills, who played for Wildwood, rushed for 452 yards on 18 carries in a game against Maple Shade. Hills held the South Jersey record for about … an hour until Clement finished with 478 against Gloucester City. He needed just 14 carries and also added seven touchdowns!

Oh yeah, he also had eight sacks as a senior and six as a junior. He was a monster on defense too.

While we're taking this stroll down memory lane, check out a baby-faced Clement, long before he joined the Eagles.
