Gunn-on-One: The Noise Isn't Bothering Brandon Brooks

Brandon Brooks has been the most consistent offensive lineman for the Eagles this season. He knows the world is against them this week, but he doesn't care. I got in the trenches with the Pro Bowl right tackle for this week's Gunn on One.

Q: Last year, you guys started out strong and maintained it all season long. Now you have five losses in nine games. What's the mood been like in the locker room behind this?

A: "Obviously, it's not where we wanted to be at this point of the season as for the five losses, but it's not the end of the world. There's still a lot of football left. Nobody is throwing in the towel. We're not a team like that. We're always going to fight to the end, no matter what the situation is. But at the same time, we know that there are things we need to correct, and we need to correct them now if we want to do the things we want to do. Really, we have the same goals as last year but we need to correct things now."

Q: How much, if any, does it bother you that most people outside of your locker room don't think you guys have a chance of going down to New Orleans and beating the Saints?

A: "I really don't care. The only thing that matters is what happens inside the locker room. If we're worried about what people thought about us, we wouldn't have won a championship last year."

How would Brooks assess his own play this season? Tune into Eagles Pregame Live at 3 p.m. Sunday on NBC Sports Philadelphia to find out.
