The Eagles (2-2) will try to get back to their winning ways Sunday when they host the Vikings (1-2-1) at Lincoln Financial Field.

Time for revenge
The last time the Vikings came to Philly, it didn't go well for them. They were blown out, 38-7, in the NFC Championship Game. The Eagles got down early but a Patrick Robinson pick-6 changed the game and the Eagles never looked back. By the time the second half came around, the Eagles were dancing on the sideline. It was a party at the Linc.

So the Vikings obviously want some revenge for that, but they're also coming off a really tough loss in L.A. last Thursday and sitting at 1-2-1 are desperate for a win.
Off an ugly loss
The Eagles lost an absolute heartbreaker in Nashville last week. They were up 17-3 in the third quarter and let the Titans come back and beat them in overtime, 26-23. There was plenty of blame to go around for that awful loss; it wasn't just Jalen Mills, as popular as that has become. The defense blew it in the second half and overtime and the offense scored just 17 points before the final drive of regulation and then failed to score a touchdown in overtime.
Just too many mistakes to come out a winner. But it was a game the Eagles had no business losing. It's a game good teams don't cough up.
The sky is not falling
The Eagles lost just two games that they cared about winning last season. They've lost two games out of their first four in 2018. Despite that, coaches and players recognize the season is still early. Doug Pederson noted Wednesday that the sun did rise.
Sure, the sky isn't falling, but it is time for the Eagles to kick it into a higher gear. This certainly doesn't look like a team primed to repeat as Super Bowl champions. This game will be a big test and it might let us know a lot about this particular team.
