Eagles Injury Update: Michael Bennett Misses Practice Again

For the second straight day, Michael Bennett (foot) and Jason Peters (non-football reason) missed Eagles practice.

But Darren Sproles (hamstring) made it through his first practice in weeks unscathed and was back on the field Friday afternoon.

Bennett injured his foot in the Eagles' 25-22 win over the Giants on Sunday. Defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz praised Bennett to reporters and to the rest of the team for fighting through the injury to return to the game.

Even if Bennett is able to play  Monday night, he might not be able to take his full complement of snaps. The Eagles have just three other defensive ends on the roster: Brandon Graham, Chris Long and rookie Josh Sweat. The Eagles have been hesitant to increase Sweat's playing time, but they might not have a choice this week.

• The following players were not at practice Friday: Bennett (foot), Peters (personal reason), Jordan Hicks (calf), Avonte Maddox (knee, ankle), Jalen Mills (foot).

Hicks, Maddox and Mills are expected to miss Monday's game.
