Eagles Inactives: Tim Jernigan Missing 2nd Straight Game

ARLINGTON, Texas - The Eagles will be without Tim Jernigan on Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium for the biggest game of the season.

He's officially inactive.

Haloti Ngata will likely start. Treyvon Hester and recently recalled Bruce Hector will be the reserve defensive tackles. The Eagles can also use Michael Bennett and Brandon Graham inside.

Jernigan worked out by himself about two hours before kickoff. He didn't have a trainer with him.

Jernigan made his season debut, playing 20 snaps against the Giants two weeks ago but last week was unable to play against the Redskins because of back spasms. He was actually active last week, but the back spasms flared up just before kickoff, so he didn't play.

Jernigan was unable to practice this week because of those spasms. He missed the first two months of the season after having offseason back surgery. He was on the Non-football Injury list until November.

Michael Bennett (foot), who missed practice earlier this week, is active. He was also listed as questionable, but was expected to play. He'll start against the Cowboys.

Avonte Maddox (knee, ankle) was the only other player listed as questionable coming into the weekend. He is out. Jalen Mills, who was ruled out on Friday, has been placed on IR, so his season is over.

Here's the Eagles' full list of inactive players on Sunday:

Tim Jernigan (back spasms)
Jordan Hicks (calf)
Avonte Maddox (knee, ankle)
Jordan Mailata
Matt Pryor
Chandon Sullivan
Nate Sudfeld

Chance Warmack is active for just the sixth time this season. He and Chandon Sullivan switched spots this week. The Eagles are carrying an extra offensive lineman for this game. Jason Peters has been dealing with an ankle injury and didn't practice this week, but will start on Sunday afternoon.
