We already knew Carson Wentz was going to wear No. 11 with the Eagles.
While he said the number doesn't have any real significance, it was what he wore at North Dakota State. In high school, he wore 20, but he wasn't allowed to in college. With the Eagles, Wentz got No. 11, while Chris Givens lost the number and was handed 19. Wentz's No. 11 was worn by Tim Tebow in last year's offseason and was once owned by receiver Josh Huff.
Well, the other seven draft picks have numbers now too. Here's a full look at jersey numbers for this year's class:

Smallwood, the running back from West Virginia, has the number Correll Buckhalter wore for several seasons in Philly. Buckhalter's teammate Duce Staley is Smallwood's position coach.
Countess has 29, which DeMarco Murray wore last season with the Eagles. Before that, it belonged to Nate Allen and briefly LeSean McCoy.

Mills gets 31, which Byron Maxwell wore last season with the Eagles. Maxwell was traded this offseason. While the team listed Mills as a safety in a release this week, he said on Sirius XM that he thinks he might start off playing corner.
McCalister is a defensive end, but has a linebacker number. He also gets the same No. 50 that Kiko Alonso wore last season. Alonso was shipped to Miami along with Maxwell, when the Eagles moved from pick No. 13 to 8 this offseason. Alonso didn't work out well in Philly, but maybe it's the curse of jersey No. 50. Here is the recent history of players wearing 50 with the Eagles: Mark Simoneau, Zeke Moreno, Justin Ena, Tank Daniels, Will Witherspoon, Ernie Sims, Casey Matthews, Alonso. Yikes.
Walker has some big shoes to fill. He gets No. 59, which was worn by DeMeco Ryans during his few seasons with the Eagles. While the team cut Ryans this offseason, Howie Roseman and Jeff Lurie went out of their way to praise one of the former leaders of the defense.
Vaitai gets the No. 72, which was worn by Cedric Thornton for the last several seasons. Thornton signed with the Cowboys during free agency this offseason. The No. 72 was worn for many years by offensive tackle Tra Thomas.
Seumalo's 73 has been worn in recent history by Wade Smith, Julian Vandervelde, Joe Kruger, Bobby McCray, Derrick Burgess and Shawn Andrews.
