We knew there was a strong likelihood Eagles fans would represent well in Los Angeles. The Chargers are having trouble selling tickets in their 27,000-seat temporary home, the StubHub Center in Carson, California.
But this... this is essentially a home game for the Eagles, only 2,400 miles away.
Seas of midnight green dominate the landscape, and the roars of approval for the Eagles taking the field -- and boos for the Chargers -- sound a lot like Lincoln Financial Field. It's truly a sight to behold, and even beat writers who have been covering this team for decades are saying they've rarely if ever seen anything quite like it.
Just remarkable.
Just did a lap around the concourse. Legitimately 75-80 percent Eagles fans here. And they are loud and obnoxious and it's so great.— Reuben Frank (@RoobCSN) October 1, 2017
