Eagles Add Running Back De'Angelo Henderson to Practice Squad

With Darren Sproles out indefinitely, Corey Clement on Injured Reserve and Boston Scott promoted last week to the active roster, the Eagles on Monday signed 26-year-old running back De'Angelo Henderson to the practice squad.

He gives the Eagles four sets of healthy running back legs and a second scout team running back in addition to Scott.

Henderson (5-7/210) played at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C. and was originally the Broncos' 6th-round pick in 2017.

He played in five games with the Broncos in 2017 and three with the Jets last year. He's 9-for-32 rushing in his career with two catches for 36 yards, including a 29-yard TD catch from Paxton Lynch for the Broncos against the Chiefs on the last day of the 2017 season.

Henderson was in training camp with the Vikings this past summer before being released on Aug. 31.

The Eagles had an open spot on the practice squad after promoting Scott on Saturday. Scott got the first four carries of his career Sunday in the closing minutes of the loss to the Vikings and gained 30 yards.
