This day is going to feel really long as we wait for Eagles-Redskins tonight, but we have some mailbag questions to hold us over.
We answered half of your questions Sunday (see story), and we'll answer half today.
Let's jump in:
Out of all the guys that will hit free agency who would you bring back?— Joel Embiid 4 MVP (@cristiano2fly) December 1, 2018
Here's the list of Eagles who will become unrestricted free agents after this season: Brandon Graham, Golden Tate, Mike Wallace, Haloti Ngata, Chance Warmack, Chris Long, Chris Maragos, Corey Graham, Darren Sproles, Ronald Darby, Paul Worrilow, Richard Rodgers, LaRoy Reynolds, Jordan Matthews, Jordan Hicks, Cre'Von LeBlanc, Jay Ajayi, D.J. Alexander.

Of that long list, the guys I'd at least be interested in bringing back would be Brandon Graham, Hicks, LeBlanc and Darby.
I think Graham is probably gone if he gets a good deal elsewhere. That would be a tough one, but the Eagles can't afford to overpay for him. I know it seems like Hicks is always hurt, but I think the Eagles would be wise to keep him. LeBlanc should be cheap and he's shown me a little something. Darby is coming off that ACL injury so he'd need to recover first, but maybe that injury means he won't get a big contract. The Eagles could do worse than Darby. He's the guy I'd be most interested in bringing back.
Some might want to bring back Tate, but I think he's going to cost too much and I don't know if the Eagles will figure out how to use him correctly.
How many carries should #Eagles fans expect to see from Josh Adams?— Eric Fenstermaker (@Phillyphan39) December 1, 2018
I have a hard time imagining Josh Adams is going to get 22 carries again. That hadn't happened since 2016. If I had to guess … somewhere around 12-15 carries seems right. It really all depends on what kind of game it is. If it's a close game and the run seems to be working, they'll stick with it.
What DL stay with Eagles in 2019 and who you think goes? DL could see major overhaul.— Justin (@Jstip10) December 1, 2018
Here's my guess:
Stay: Fletcher Cox, Tim Jernigan, Josh Sweat, Derek Barnett, Michael Bennett
Go: Haloti Ngata, Chris Long, Brandon Graham, Treyvon Hester
Yeah, we could see some real turnover. I think Ngata and Long might retire and B.G. gets a deal somewhere else. Hester could stick around, at least for next training camp.
Is Malcolm Jenkins in Brian Dawkins legacy territory?— Positive Brian (@BRIGGSQUAADDD) December 1, 2018
Nah. Dawkins might be the most popular athlete in Philadelphia history, so Jenkins isn't reaching that level. But Jenkins has earned his place in Philadelphia sports history too. He helped win a Super Bowl and he's been a really good player and a versatile player for a long time here. He's definitely one of the best free-agent signings in Eagles history.
