Eagles Inactives: Ronald Darby Out Vs. 49ers

Cornerback Ronald Darby still isn't ready to go.

After practicing as a limited participant for the second straight week, Darby is inactive again as the Eagles get set to face the 49ers at the Linc on Sunday afternoon.

Since his return to practice two weeks ago, Darby has yet to be a full participant in practice so even if the field conditions weren't bad on Sunday, he probably wouldn't have played. But the rainy conditions likely made this a no-brainer.

The Eagles play the Broncos next week before their bye week, so it might make sense to keep him out until after that.

Joining Darby on the inactive list are Jordan Hicks, Shelton Gibson, Justin Hamilton, Steven Means, Elijah Qualls and Taylor Hart.

Hicks (Achilles) is still on the active roster but is definitely done for the season.

Hart rejoined the team this week but is a healthy scratch on Sunday. That means the Eagles' backup swing tackle is Isaac Seumalo and their backup guard is Chance Warmack.

Mychal Kendricks (hamstring) is returning after missing last week's game.

As expected, Halapoulivaati Vaitai will start at left tackle for Jason Peters and Lane Johnson will remain at right tackle. Either Najee Goode or Joe Walker will play the MIKE spot for Hicks. Kendricks and Nigel Bradham will be on the field in the Nickel package.

For the 49ers, starting middle linebacker Reuben Foster and starting right tackle Trent Brown are both out with injuries.

Joining them on the inactive list are WR Victor Bolden Jr., CB K'Waun Williams, DB Dexter McCoil, LB Pita Taumoepenu and DL Aaron Lynch.
