Despite Injury, Carson Wentz Not Forgotten in Pro Bowl Voting

Wentz got more fan votes than any other NFC quarterback (or NFC player) and the fourth-most in the entire NFL.

Carson Wentz obviously won't be able to play in this year's Pro Bowl, but he's well on his way to getting named a Pro Bowler for the first time in his young career.

Wentz got more fan votes than any other NFC quarterback (or NFC player) and the fourth-most in the entire NFL. After fan voting finished on Dec. 14, Wentz had 829,174 votes.

Only Le'Veon Bell (855,539), Tom Brady (833,481) and Antonio Brown (832,446) had more. The three quarterbacks behind Wentz in the NFC were Drew Brees (743,355), Russell Wilson (651,592) and Jared Goff (571,656).

Fan votes are 1/3 of the process. Players' and coaches' votes account for the remaining 2/3s.

Zach Ertz finished with more fans than any other NFC tight end. He got 486,011. This would be Ertz's first Pro Bowl nod as well.

With the team at 11-2, several other Eagles seemingly have a pretty good shot at making the Pro Bowl this season.

The full Pro Bowl rosters will be revealed on Dec. 19.
