Carson Wentz Loves Them But Is a Venison Cheesesteak Even a Cheesesteak?

Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz loves to shoot things -- mostly animals -- and presumably enjoys eating them on many occasions.

He's also the quarterback of the football team that resides in Philadelphia so he is thereby mandates to have opinions on cheesesteaks.

Carson lived up to both of those things over Memorial Day Weekend when he posted a photo of his "favorite cheesesteak" which was actually one he made with venison meat.

You may be asking yourself, is a venison cheesesteak really a cheesesteak? The answer, of course, doesn't matter whatsoever but you've come this far so let's discuss anyway.

Is a chicken cheesesteak really a cheesesteak? I'd say yes. It's a CHICKEN cheesesteak. Going along with this thinking, any sort of chopped meat on a roll with some melted cheese would be considered a "cheesesteak."

Thus, Carson was indeed eating a cheesesteak -- a VENISON CHEESESTEAK specifically. It's some variation of a cheesesteak and probably not a very good one. But it's still a cheesesteak.
