After White House Takes Back Invite, Eagles Go Back to Work

After being disinvited to the White House, the Eagles suddenly found themselves with a free day … so they're going to work.

The team is making the most of it, holding a voluntary OTA practice at the NovaCare Complex on Tuesday morning.

The Eagles, in a statement last night, said they "are looking forward to continuing our preparations for the 2018 season."

Apparently, continues on Tuesday. The team is having a Phase 2 practice, which is slightly lighter than a normal Phase 3 OTA day. In Phase 2, coaches are allowed on the field, but there's no offense vs. defense of any kind and no helmets.

The team will be back together on Wednesday and Thursday for normal OTA practices, which will involve helmets and competition. Wednesday and Thursday's practices are also open to the media. Players will also have a chance to address the canceled visit to the White House.
