The Eagles (5-6) are coming off a season-saving win against the Giants and will now have a chance to win a huge division game against the Redskins (6-5) at home.
The next time these two teams meet is in the regular season finale down in Washington.
Here are five matchups to watch Monday night:
Adrian Peterson vs. arm tackles
He might be 33 now, but Peterson still runs pretty damn hard.
"He's still strong as can be," Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz said.
In 11 games this season, Peterson has 183 carries for 758 yards (4.1) and six touchdowns. Not mind-blowing stats, but he has gone over 90 yards in five games, so he has that ability still. Peterson has been dealing with a shoulder injury but is apparently starting to get healthier.
Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles' biggest problem defensively as of late - aside from injuries - has been their inability to tackle. If they don't use good technique against Peterson and try to arm tackle him, they're not going to bring him down.
Fletcher Cox vs. Washington's backup guards
The Redskins are without both starting guards (Brandon Scherff and Shawn Lauvao) for the rest of the season. Scherff vs. Cox is normally a marquee matchup. But without their top guys, Cox might be able to do some real damage. Cox is coming off a really disruptive game against the Giants.
The other bit of good news for the Eagles is that Tim Jernigan, who played 20 snaps in his return last week, will likely continue to get more and more playing time. That can only help Cox.
Zach Ertz vs. Washington's safeties
People are starting to notice that Ertz is putting together a season for the record books. This might be the single greatest season a tight end has ever had. But Washington hasn't given up a lot to opposing tight ends this year: just 45 catches for 439 yards and three touchdowns.
D.J. Swearinger is having a really good season for Washington, but they also start newcomer Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.
Lane Johnson vs. Ryan Kerrigan
Kerrigan is 30 now and doesn't seem to be slowing down. He has eight sacks this season and continues to be a menace for opposing offensive tackles. He has 10 1/2 career sacks against the Eagles.
Johnson has been able to play every snap in the last two weeks, which is a great sign as he continues to heal from the left MCL sprain. It seems like him and the rest of the offensive line are healing just in time.
Jordan Reed vs. Malcolm Jenkins
Washington will have to go the rest of the way without Alex Smith, who suffered a brutal injury a couple weeks ago. It'll be Colt McCoy under center for Washington. Meanwhile, Reed has been their best receiver. He has 50 catches for 537 yards and two touchdowns. And on top of that, Vernon Davis has 17 catches for 305 yards and two touchdowns. It won't be all on Jenkins, but if the Eagles get some bodies back in the secondary, they'd probably like him to follow Reed a bit.
If Jenkins has to play slot corner because of injuries, it'll be up to the linebackers to keep the Redskins' tight ends limited. That's even tougher without Jordan Hicks, who is still out with a calf injury.
