City Hall Hosts Flyers Pep Rally Today

Nutter, Primeau and others try to Flyer Up Philly

The Flyers are down 0-2 in the Stanley Cup Final but they are far from out and fans can show the Fly Guys some love Tuesday afternoon.

Former Flyers Bob Kelly and Keith Primeau will join Philly Mayor Michael Nutter at a Flyers pep rally planned for 1:30 at Dilworth Plaza at City Hall.

Expect plenty of Finals fun Thursday afternoon as there will be face painting, the Flyer fun patrol will be giving away gear and “Dancing Guy” Shawny Hilll will be showing off his moves.

Besides some Flyers chants, Nutter will declare the official city dress code to be orange for the duration of the playoffs.

Amidst all the fun Nutter, Primeau and Kelly will take a moment to present Upper Darby Police Officer Ray Blohm, who was recently injured in the line of duty, with a Flyers jersey.
