Big Red Santa Celebrates Chiefs Divisional Crown

While the Eagles still have plenty to play for Monday night, Christmas Eve offered Birds fans plenty of entertainment.

The Seattle Seahawks officially eliminated the Cowboys from postseason contention Sunday afternoon despite Ezekiel Elliott returning from a six-game suspension for Dallas.

As if that was not enough Christmas Eve joy for Birds fans, the Kansas City Chiefs clinched the AFC West with a win over the Miami Dolphins. Why should we care?

Remember all the chatter about the NFL's best Eagles not having any tough opponents? Well, now, one of the Eagles' two losses came to the Chiefs, a divisional winner who, despite going 1-6 after a 5-0 start, avoided complete disaster.

The other loss? Those Seahawks, who are still alive in the playoff picture with Sunday's win.

Anyways, former Eagles head coach Andy Reid was quite festive after the Chiefs clinched their second straight AFC West title.

And yes, you guessed it. Big Red dressed up as Santa Claus and even did his postgame press conference dressed as St. Nick.

Props to the Chiefs' Twitter account for creating this GIF.

Which reminded us of this

And to all a good night.
