Andy Reid Shares Heartfelt Message of Pride With Brian Dawkins for Entering Hall of Fame

The thing about Brian Dawkins is that anyone ever associated with the Philadelphia Eagles loves and respects the guy.

So with Dawkins set to be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend, Weapon X is feeling the love from all over the place, including Kansas City.

Dawkins played the bulk of his Eagles career for Andy Reid and the two helped the Eagles to a Super Bowl appearance and plenty of fun times over the years.

Reid, now the head coach in Kansas City, shared a warm message with Dawk through the Eagles' official Twitter account. You can watch that below.

"Dawk, I'm proud of you, man," Reid says. "Hall of Fame. I know Jim Johnson would be very proud of you too. The great work you did keeping that Eagles team together. You and a couple of your teammates, I banked on you for everything, not only as a player but as a human being as well teaching the young guys how to be a professional on and off the field. A true Hall of Famer. Love ya. And Connie, I now how he got here, really. Bless ya."

Connie is Dawkins' wife, who Brian credits with helping him through his darker times.
