Alleged Drug Dealer Names Ex-Eagle as a Customer

Alleged drug dealer Styles Beckles sold marijuana to Ex-Eagle Correll Buckhalter, according to Delaware County prosecutors.

Buck isn't alone. Beckles also named other athletes including former Temple Owl and Philadelphia Soul Team Ambassador Keita Crespina, said prosecutors.

Beckles, 36, was arrested following a lengthy drug investigation. The Clifton Heights resident was originally busted for drugs during a traffic stop in 2006.

He was arrested last year and charged with possession with intent to distribute.

It is unknown if Beckles has named any other athletes as alleged clients.

Buckhalter and Crespina haven't been charged in relation to the accusations.

Buckhalter, 30, signed with the Denver Broncos this month after spending eight seasons in Philly. The Eagles suspended him for a game in 2001 following a drug incident.

Buckhalter's agent John Rickert offered no comment to NBC Philadelphia. "Any time you to get some information like this, you have to look at the credibility [of the source]," Rickert said to Philly.com.

NBC Philadelphia has been unable to reach Crespina for comment. We are also awaiting comment from the Eagles.
