After the Kensington High School football team had $10,000 worth of equipment stolen and damaged on July 21, they began a fundraiser to try to pay for their new equipment with a month to go before the start of their season.
Zach Ertz decided to give them a little boost.
And today, the tight end and the Eagles combined to donate $10,000 worth of equipment to the school. The Ertz Family Foundation donated $5,000 and the Eagles matched that with their own $5,000 donation.
According to the Eagles, the donations included 45 game jerseys, 47 pairs of Eagles practice pants, 60 pairs of socks, 15 footballs, a 2-man sled, tackle tube, linemen chutes, two Gatorade coolers and product and, of course, a new storage unit with a lock to hold all of it.
Zach's mom, Lisa, was the one who heard the story and passed it along to her son, according to the foundation's website.

"It's an honor to help ensure that Kensington High School's football program is saved," Ertz said in a statement earlier this month. "What started out as an awful blow to their team has resulted in an opportunity to show this community what we are able to do together."
Kensington played their first game on Aug. 24 at New Hope-Solebury. They're scheduled to play tonight against George Washington.
