Victorino, Blanton Each Ink One-Year Deals with Phils

The World Series Champion Phillies avoided arbitration with two players Tuesday.

Centerfielder Shane Victorino signed a one-year deal for just over $3 million.  The 28-year-old hit .293 with 14 home runs, 58 RBI, 36 stolen bases and 102 runs scored in 146 games last season.

Right-handed pitcher Joe Blanton also inked a one-year deal worth over $5 million.

The Phils now have just three arbitration eligible players remaining: pitcher Chad Dubin, first baseman Ryan Howard and outfielder Jayson Werth.
