Sixers Blowout Pistons to Claw Back to .500

The 76ers made it a three-game winning streak Friday night as they thumped the Detroit Pistons 110-94.

Thaddeus Young came off the bench to lead the Sixers with 24 points while Andre Iguodala pitched in 21 points and 11 boards. Power forward Elton Brand did his part with an impressive 20 and 17 double-double.

Will Bynum led the Pistons with 29 points and five rebounds.

The win brought the Sixers to a .500 (29-29) for the first time this season -- a huge turnaround from their 3-13 start.

They now have more wins under first-year coach Doug Collins than they had all of last season under Eddie Jordan.

The Sixers remain in seventh place in the Eastern Conference but closed to within a game of the 6th Spot after the Knicks dropped to the Cavs Friday night.

The Sixers take on those same Cavaliers Sunday night in Cleveland.
