Since the sudden passing of beloved Hall of Fame Phillies announcer Harry Kalas, people have been wondering what would become of his last TV commercial.
The ad for SUPERPRETZEL was shot exactly a month before his death on April13.
J&J Snackfood, the Pennsauken-based snack company, decided to shelve the original version and re-cut the commercial.
Now, the company has announced they plan on airing the original ad as a tribute to the Philly legend during this weekend's Phillies-Mets series.
The spots will air exclusively in Philly, Scranton and Harrisburg on Saturday and Sunday.
Fans who miss the ad will be able to watch it at the company's website after the final TV airing on Sunday.
