Phils Lose to Pirates, 4-3

Philadelphia ace Roy Halladay pitched three shutout innings Saturday, then Neil Walker homered for the Pittsburgh Pirates in a 4-3 win over the Phillies.

Halladay struck out four while giving up one hit and walking two. Relievers Brad Lidge and Jose Contreras each threw a scoreless inning for the Phillies.

Lyle Overbay had three hits for the Pirates, including a double, and scored twice. Pittsburgh starter Paul Maholm gave up one run in three innings.
