Phillies Dom Brown Out With Fractured Hand

Phillies right-fielder Dominic Brown fractured the hamate bone of his right hand during a swing in Saturday’s game against the Pirates in Clearwater, Florida.

The injury will require surgery and is expected to sideline him for the rest of spring training and the early part of the season.

Brown reportedly injured his hand after taking the first swing.

He was slated right-fielder during the Phils opening day.
