Phillies Beat Nationals, 10-6

Friday turned out to be a long, but good day for the Philadelphia Phillies.  It began with a White House visit and ended with a 10-6 victory over the Washington Nationals in 12 innings night.

Raul Ibanez delivered a two-run single for his fourth hit of the game after Kip Wells, Washington's eighth pitcher, walked the bases loaded in the 12th. That broke a 6-all tie, and Philadelphia tacked on insurance runs with Pedro Feliz's RBI double -- also his fourth hit -- and catcher Wil Nieves' throwing error on a double steal.

Wells (0-1), Washington's last available reliever, allowed four run in two innings. J.A. Happ (2-0), Philadelphia's seventh pitcher, got the win by getting the final six outs.
