Overheard at Camp: Stepping on Toes

Backup quarterback Kevin Kolb and defensive end Trent Cole left practice early this morning with injuries, says the Daily News Eagletarian.

Kolb went down with a sprained knee while Cole suffered from a sprained left shoulder.

Kolb "might have gotten his toe stepped on," defensive end Bryan Smith said after practice.

While Kolb was not sure of how badly he was injured, Cole said that he was just bruised.

Kolb and Cole were the third and fourth Eagles injured in a three-day period.

Wide receiver DeSean Jackson left practice early Saturday with a hyper-extended right knee, but returned for practice Sunday.

Tight end Cornelius Ingram tore his ACL Saturday, which could be a season-ender for him. This comes after Stewart Bradley ends his season before it began with an ACL tear as well.
